IPSF EMRO and IPSF AfRO are committed to strengthening public health awareness across their regions. This collaborative campaign is a proactive initiative to address Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs), a group of preventable and treatable conditions that continue to pose a significant public health burden. By leveraging the combined networks of both regions, the campaign aims to provide individuals with clear, accessible knowledge on the definition of NTDs, their modes of transmission, main health consequences, as well as key strategies for prevention and control. Through a structured and engaging awareness-based challenge, participants will be encouraged to enhance their understanding of NTDs and contribute to informed, community-oriented public health action.
This initiative is an online awareness campaign conducted over two days, implemented as a collaborative effort between IPSF EMRO and IPSF AfRO.
