About

Founded in 2009 by a group of young pharmacy students, ASEPA is a scientific, apolitical and non-profit association. It brings together all the current and future practitioners in the pharmaceutical field (students, graduates and post-graduates).  The aim of the association is to broaden the spetrum of academic and extra-academic activities of the students, in an environment enabling them to acquire the technical, theoretical and ethical skills, in order to promote by all means the advancement and dissemination of the pharmacy profession

Achievements:

-Host of the 1st IPSF African Pharmaceutical Symposium in 2012 ( whenASEPA used to be in AfRO)

– Won the IPSF cardio competition in 2016  

– Won the IPSF Vampire cup in 2015.

About

ASPSA was founded in 1979 by a group of ambitious students at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria University. It became a member in IPSF in 1980. It was the first association for pharmacy students in Egypt, and then when EPSF (Egyptian Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation) was founded, ASPSA was a pioneer in it.
Our projects aim at the development of the pharmaceutical students by promoting their interests and encouraging co-operation between them, so that they can acquire professional knowledge & skills needed to promote positive changes in their future.

Achievements:

1)Hosted the World Congress in Alexandria, Egypt in 1982
2)ASPSA member founded EMRO in 2008
3)Featured several times in IPSF’s Public Health Newsletter
4)Won the bidding to host EMPS in 2012, however after revolution started in 2011, it was cancelled.

EPSF is the Egyptian’s largest professional non governmental and non profitable organization for pharmacy students. It’s the Full Member federation representing Egypt in the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF).

EPSF was founded in 1982 as the national representative of all pharmacy students in Egypt and the head of all local Scientific Associations in the Egyptian pharmacy colleges. The national federation now represents more than 85,000 pharmacy students and recent graduates in 31 colleges of pharmacy.

EPSF has broken World Guinness Record by achieving 8600 blood glucose level measurements in one day. EPSF is the winner of Sidney J. Relph award 2010-2011 and the IPSF Annual Award of best performance association in the world.

Achievements:

EPSF is the winner of IPSF award (Sydney J. Relph award) for the best performance association in the world in 2010-2011.

•EPSF is the holder of Guinness World Records title of “Most Blood Glucose Tests taken in 24 hours” with 8,600 blood glucose tests and introduced awareness about Diabetes for more than 10,000 persons in December 2013.
